WACHIT VMD-95 constantly monitors the video signals received
from a security camera. It will only begin recording when there
is an activity in the scene. It will stop recording when there
is no more activity in the scene. |
 |
Because only motion-based activity is recorded, tapes last
longer and no traditional time-lapse technology is required.
Unlike Time Lapse VCRs, long periods of static video without
any image activity is not recorded. |
 |
WACHIT VMD-95 can be used to extract events out of a tape
that was recorded by a time lapse VCR. The resulting recorded
tape only includes the scenes with motion and therefore simplifies
the task of reviewing the tapes. |
 |
WACHIT VMD-95 filters out video noise and therefore has
excellent noise immunity. This greatly minimizes false motion
detection. |
 |
WACHIT VMD-95 automatically adjusts to the video signal level.
It can be used with cameras producing signal levels as low as
0.5Vpp to as much as 2Vpp (nominal signal level for composite
video is 1Vpp). |
 |
WACHIT VMD-95 works well with both wireless and wired cameras. |
 |
WACHIT VMD-95 includes complex digital image processing algorithm
which minimizes false alarms due to slow changes in ambient
light such as cloud movements and day-night light change or
fast changes such as lightening and flying birds. |
